Phone call off the hospital gone from kidneys working 30% to 36% didn't know it could go back up happy days

    GFR is just an estimated number, and it generally fluctuates with a certain range, so this isn't surprising.  Still, always good to get a higher GFR so here's to hoping for more / better results!

    My sister was on bactrim antibiotics, her gfr dropped to15 Dr. had bloodworm redone after she was off for 6 weeks, it came up to 43. Creatinine was high, it came way down. No more bactrim. Also her kidney Dr told her no ibruprofen, or alleve, very hard on kidmeys

    Great news Davey.  Mine has never shown an upward trend, instead a couple of different blood pressure medications have actually reduced it!  Luckily, it did regain most of the points lost after stopping the medication but not all of them.
