Chronic itch in tiny area of vulva

Hello,

For about three years, I've had a persistent, annoying itch in my vulva. It is not a generalized vaginal itching like in BV or yeast. It is only located in about the 6 o'clock position. Oddly, it seems to also cause my foot to itch concurrently, also always in a single position - right underneath my 4th toe. My gyno has ruled out a Bartholin's cyst, and I have no idea what's going on. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?

I myself have had a migrating itch that seems to have no physiological cause, but which itched somewhat fiercely for a year and a half, on and off, then migrated to the tip of my big toe for a couple of weeks, and now seems to have migrated to just under my right shoulder blade, on and off for the last three months.

It originated at the inside of my left thigh, with absolutely no visible redness or bump at all, made for an awkward place to have to "scratch" when in public.

Started well before the sudden onset of my pmr ("rare disease/syndrome of the elderly"), so I don't think that it is related.

I use a back-scratcher now, but it does no harm to ignore it.

I think that such itches are a nerve thing, and I haven't yet bothered my GP or rheumy with the details. I am 55 and otherwise healthy.

Yeah, but for me, ignoring it isn't an option, as it is extremely annoying. There are no visible signs of problems at the site either. I'm going to have them check if it is inflamed, and also do a nerve conductance test.

Keep us posted! I have the same thing, bit different that it is at the area of the previous Bartholin cyst. It itches all the time just one small area. It's almost 1 year now sad
